How about here, there and everywhere ......Work and school are creating a huge pressure cloud over my head and after seeing my PCP this week her advice is something's got tot give .....Okay ..what? Graduation is a stone's throw away ....and work ..well.we all know how that goes ....I'm trying to take very DEEP breathes and now get myself into overload mode about every little thing. Tomorrow will come and Life will go on ....
I do luv the Fall so much and have been noticing the trees especially This week are Turning into all those beautiful colors ....can't wear them with my skin tone ..but do luv them ....Tim got tics to the Ravens game on Sunday so I am excited about that .....We're also getting a new sofa and love-seat on Monday thanks to my loving pooch Nana-Rose ....long, long story there that I wil l save for another post ....

Headaches and the life of a student
Hello to all my faithful followers, growing in numbers I hope....
So last week was filled with lots of headaches, 1 trip to the ER at St. Joseph Medical Center and finally a nice shot of Dilaudin http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000545. This nice write-up gives you an idea of how it works. And boy did it work... For some reason my Imitrix did not do the trick and the weekend was more or less lost on holding my head, laying down and doing a lot of whining. Enough said.
So work has been super busy this week as I have been covering for my co-worker who is off. A long week for sure.
As school has just started I've found myself doing some procrastinating about the work. :-0(
In short I am so ready to graduate on 5/28/11. I have 2 classes this semester and 1 in the Spring. After that I'll be gathering my sheepskin and moving on....possibly to grad school, I just don't know right now....I did have a great teacher last Spring at CND who I really liked and he teaches grad school. Mr. Pollard was one of the best I've had since returing 7 years ago to Notre Dame. Lots to think about there ....
So thats about it for today .....No headaches this week to speak of and I do hope it keeps going that way...Make it a great day....

Another day for learning to Blog
Hello to all,
So slowly but surely I'm getting the hang of this whole blogging thing. I've added some pictures for everyone, one of my favorite car - BluBug....and one of my husband and I in Key West in February.
A little background on where the name of my blog came from. About 5 years ago I was taking a class in Professional Communications. We had to come up with a product to sell, design a marketing plan and finally do a presentation in front of the class. So my company's name was (yup, you guessed it) "Selections By Susan" and my product was greeting cards. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and the name just stuck with me.
Now about my BluBug. Way back in the 1960's my dad had 2 Beetles at different times and both were convertibles. I have fond memories of the times we would go out driving in those cars with the top down thinking we were the coolest of the cool. So suffice to say, I have always wanted one. I found this little gem at CARMAX in March 2010 and while it is a 2003 it is loaded with goodies. Heated and leather seats, a sun-roof , TURBO and of course a cassette player.....What the heck? Is this a joke? Well thats what I said to the salesman. I mean didn't cassette players go out with the 80's? or 90"s? Where can you even buy them anymore?
So I'm keeping my fingers crossed Santa might bring me something to play CD's on but in the meantime my radio does just fine.
Finally, to my many readers I of course had to include the Autism ribbon. Anyone who knows me knows I am all about Autism Awareness and promoting it. I can't imagine my life without it and everyday I appreciate the gift of a loving son that I have been given.

SUCCESS!
Hello again,,,,,,It works ....lol...
So all my hard work has paid off along with the support I got from The Frilly Coconut....a great place to set up a blog ....
Anyway, I had a great weekend. Well, sort of....Saturday morning I got up and walked about 5 miles all in preparation for the Big Balto. Marathon on 10/16/10 where I wil lbe walking the 1/2 marathon ...13 5 miles ....All I really want to do is better my time from last year which was:

So all of this is simply that I want to do better than 3 hours and 35 minutes ....Enough said..
Yesterday my adorable husband and I went to a 50th wedding anniversary celebration at The Turf Valley Country Club. What an event! Tim's 1st cousin Joan and her husband Jack have been married 50 years and here is something interesting, they had their wedding reception way back in 1960 at The Turf Country Club as well..... So Jack and Joan invited about 150 people and had a live band ...Called ..."Mood Swings' and the group is made up of all Psychologists and Psychiatrists....For real....14 members in all but we heard there are actually 24 ....The music was phenomenal....A wonderful party!
I missed starting my 1st class at College of Notre Dame due to a terrible migrane headache ....I feel great today and work is super busy so I better go...
